The general opinion we are mostly used to is that we need to sleep more to remain healthy and function right.
But an expert warns that getting too much sleep could actually be bad for your health. Shawn Youngstedt, a professor has revealed that the lowest mortality and morbidity is within seven hours, but eight hours or more has consistently been shown to be hazardous.
According to him, Just last month a study of almost 9,000 people found those aged 50 to 64 who slept for less than six hours a night – or more than eight – had worse memories and decision-making abilities.
So we need just 7 hours of sleep. Not more or less.
